Jenny McCracken
Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee
If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and inadequate in navigating the challenges and expectations around parenting, relationships, career, family, or “well-being,” I get you and am here to support you. I like to support people in identifying the external societal expectations that are imposed on them and do not serve them, which can be very liberating. My goal is to help you to tap into your own unique superpowers and chart your course forward on your own terms.
I particularly enjoy working with women in transition and also welcome children, adolescents, families, and couples into my practice. I draw from various modalities including Narrative Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and take a strengths-based approach, believing that people often aren’t giving themselves the credit they deserve. I offer a deep listening presence, validation for your feelings in whatever you are experiencing, and a sense of humor. It is a privilege to support my clients in their ever shifting worlds.
I encourage you to schedule a 15 minute consultation with me to see if we are a good fit. Finding a therapist that you are in sync with is key. I look forward to our potential meeting.
