Archived: DIY Therapeutic Interventions for Child/Teen Development
This workshop offers teachers, educators, and fellow therapists a toolbox of process interventions to use in working with children and teenagers. Workshop includes an experiential learning format with demonstrations of various expressive arts interventions that promote identity formation, awareness, and emotional intelligence. This workshop will empower practitioners and promote resiliency in servicing demanding youth populations in our community.
Learn therapeutic interventions that promote self-concept, identify formation, and stable self-esteem. These activities can also provide practical entries into improved communication, relational awareness, and healthy/effective ways to express and share discomforting emotions.

Erin Lundy, from Golden Gate University in San Francisco is a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor and a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Since 2004 she has served as a counselor in the arena of rehabilitation and residential treatment providing education and coaching for the enrichment of families and the community. As a clinician, Erin is inspired by EMDR therapy and relational esteem. She is dedicated to working with clients in their growth space and seeing changes through process therapy.
Beth Shafran-Mukai studies at PTI, is completing her Masters in Counseling Psychology degree at Sofia University in June 2024, and applying for registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor. She brings many years experience working in healthcare organizations, including coaching individuals in increasing awareness and initiating change. As a Clinician, Beth is committed to holding safe and inclusive space for all to bring their “whole selves” to the process of learning and growing,relationally and experientially.
